Yeah. A lot of the other ones they're referring to aren't sci-fi as much, though.
The Arm of the Starfish was good, Dragons in the Waters was okay,
A House Like a Lotus was an interesting coming of age story for Meg's eldest, Polyhymnia (and goes into greater detail about some of the characters met in the previous books). They're all more intrigue/drama.

You MIGHT want to read An Acceptable Time, which in many ways is Swiftly Tilting Planet II, with the time travel around the star-watching rock and the lake and all, but I'd advise not to except out of completeness, cause it's not that good. I really, *really* hated Zachary Grey when I was done with it, and I was none too fond of Polyhymnia when it was over, too.

Many Waters, however, was *good* reading back when I got it.
